Phillip Y. Levin

Assistant commissioner since 1998, Levin supervises staff
responsible for administering all planned developments
within Chicago. Among the developments he has reviewed
and negotiated are Cityfront Center/River East, Illinois
Center/Lakeshore East, Central Station and, currently,
Trump Tower. He has been a major proponent of design
review of all types of developments and is involved in
the formation and implementation of numerous urban development
policies.
