Charles R. Nash, CRE

Transwestern

Charles specializes in counseling, advisory services, agency leasing and tenant representation services for both retail and corporate clients. He specializes in technology and data center requirements for corporate firms. He served on the Board of Directors and as Chief Information Officer for Transwestern and its related companies from 2000 to 2002. He was one of the founding members of the Chicago office andhas been with Transwestern for over 10 years.

Prior to joining Transwestern, Charles was president and chief executive officer with Concord Realty Advisors, Inc. in Chicago. In that role, he was responsible for asset management on behalf of national and international REITs; overseeing development analysis on mixed-use properties in Chicago; conducting market research for off-shore real estate pension funds; providing acquisition advisory services to corporation, investors and pension funds; and providing disposition advisory services to Cornerstone Properties on Chicago Loop land holdings. Additionally he has specialized on retail development and leasing in the State Street corridor for over 25 years.

Charles also worked for Richard Ellis, Inc. in Chicago/London, where he served as asset manager for corporations; offered portfolio consultation services on U.S. holdings to European and Asian companies; and provided merger and acquisition analysis for international corporations. Clients included Hilton Hotels, Glaxo, Dutch Institutional Holding Company, Deloitte & Touche (London), ABN Amro, Zeneca, and other multinational corporations.
